Koru Services, Te Pae Tawhiti programme offers Rangatahi aged 15-24 years, opportunities to push through the hard stuff, be open to the good and new stuff and get on to the what next.
Based at Koru Services, Redan Road, Kaitaia, and servicing Te Hiku o Te Ika, Far North, Te Pae Tawhiti walks alongside Rangatahi in their haerenga [journey] to connect with whānau, their peers and community, improve self-worth and confidence, and obtain the skills and training to stay engaged in learning, training or meaningful employment.
What to expect

Rangatahi will develop a stronger, more positive identity with knowledge of whakapapa, where they are from and connectedness to their people and Te Ao Māori.

A tailored pathway identifying their aspirations, talents and the supports that they need.

Exposure to spaces, faces and experiences to look at ones self and consider the what next with confidence.

To be open to opportunities to join educational programmes and take up study or employment.
